The county engineer recommended awarding the contract to Newell Road Builders as the lowest bidder; commissioners voted unanimously to accept that recommendation and to authorize the engineer to proceed with contract finalization.
The motion to accept the engineer’s recommendation was recorded and the board directed the engineer to administer the project and report on progress through the usual project oversight process.
