Commission appoints project manager and authorizes signatures for Chisholm storm shelter

The Macon County Commission adopted a resolution naming Eddie Culpepper as project manager for the District #1 Chisholm Storm Shelter. Commissioner Miles D. Robinson moved to adopt the resolution; Commissioner Andrew D. Thompson Jr. seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Robert M. Berry subsequently moved to authorize the chairman to execute the resolutions related to the Chisholm Storm Shelter; that motion also passed unanimously.
The storm shelter resolution had been added to the Sept. 18 agenda as a revision. The minutes show the commission taking action to appoint a manager and to authorize the chairman to sign necessary documents; staff and the engineer were directed to provide paperwork and projections related to the project as part of next steps.
