Mike (speaker 9) said the application contains conflicting attachments — one that appears to request lowering a culvert two feet and another that leaves the culvert at its existing elevation. "There's actually conflicting information in the application," he said, and he proposed drafting a set of comments that lay out two possible scenarios and ask the state to clarify the applicant’s intentions and who would be responsible for culvert permitting and costs.
Mike recommended the commission sign a county letter after review: he will draft the letter, circulate it to commissioners for edits, and the chair or a designated commissioner will sign it on the county letterhead. Commissioners agreed and asked staff to include downstream landowner impacts and road‑integrity concerns in the draft.
