County Auditor April Palmer told the Finance & Personnel Committee on Jan. 13 that an offsite audit with Baker Tilly is underway and that Baker Tilly auditors will be on the County premises for several days beginning March 5.
The committee also approved auditing services for 2025 through 2027 with Baker Tilly. Palmer said the firm’s quote reflects an industry-standard increase of approximately 3 to 3½ percent per year. The motion to award auditing services carried by voice vote.
