Perez abstained and the motion carried. Separately, the court approved the Pre‑Trial Diversion budget for FY 2025‑26 on a motion by Commissioner Garza and seconded by Commissioner Vera; that motion carried unanimously. The court also approved continuing a $50,000 Tri‑County C.S.D.D. (Adult Probation) supplement from the 2024‑25 budget to 2025‑26, and approved depositing $150,000 in prior‑year collections into Capital Outlay with authority to carry over the funds to the next fiscal year if not used by Sept. 30, 2025.
