Jackson County hires ECIA planning support for zoning administrator transition

The contract is valued at up to $30,000 with ECIA covering half the cost, and staff named Laura Carson as the primary ECIA planner expected to work on the project. "She has over 30 years experience in the planning and zoning field," Dan Fox (ECIA) said.
A board member moved to approve the contract and the motion passed by voice vote. Supervisors described the arrangement as a cost‑effective alternative to hiring an additional full-time employee while ensuring continuity during an administrative transition.
