The Duval County Commissioners Court met July 14, 2025, and approved a slate of routine and administrative actions, including minutes from June 2025 and payment of bills. Commissioner Adalberto M. Vera moved to approve the minutes and Commissioner Pete A. Guerra seconded; the motion "carried with all members voting 'Aye' and 'Against' none."
The court approved multiple budget transfers: the District Attorney moved $250 from Equipment to Operating Expense and $1,750 for a copier (total $2,000); Nutrition Services moved $2,000 from Personnel to Parts and Repairs; Emergency Management moved $2,000 from Personnel to Contract Services and $2,000 from Personnel to Parts and Repairs. Commissioner Martin M. Perez moved the transfers and Commissioner Guerra seconded; motions carried unanimously. The court also accepted departmental reports and approved payment of Constable fees. The meeting adjourned after approving a series of permits, bids, and contracts.
