"I need a motion to approve and authorize the auditor's office to issue warrants in the publication of the claims listing in the amount of $312,216.20," Lisa (auditor) said. The motion was moved and seconded and the chair called for the ayes; the motion carried.
Board members reviewed a few line items; one supervisor noted a large amount for rock, including reclaimed and quarry rock used for improvements. Another asked about charges tied to CPR training, clarifying whether the county was paying for CPR cards or training time. Lisa and other staff said the charges appeared to be for certification cards and that instructors/time charges were limited; the auditor and supervisors agreed there was nothing unusually out of the ordinary in the claims listing.
The board did not revise the claims listing at the meeting; the auditor will proceed with issuing warrants as authorized.
