The Kenton County Fiscal Court approved pay application #21 to contractor Dugan and Meyers for work on the Kenton County Government Center parking garage during the Jan. 13 meeting. County Administrator Joe Shriver said the payment had been vetted and was appropriate, but noted it was not the final payment for the overall project as podium work and framing continue into spring.
Shriver added that Dugan and Meyers are currently pouring concrete on the first deck along Main Street and that work on the MLK side foundation should be complete in about two weeks. Public Works Director Spencer Stork briefed the court on recent snow-and-ice responses (salt dome restocked) and said the Transportation Plan update kickoff met this week.
Next steps: Pay application processed; construction continues into spring. County staff will continue to update the court on project milestones.
