Jacob Riley, Public Works Assistant Director, presented the 2026 Miscellaneous Engineering Services contract for the Butler County Landfill with Burns & McDonnell, to provide on-call and as-needed engineering support for recurring annual work. The contract was approved with a not-to-exceed amount of $72,000 and the Board voted 5-0 to authorize the agreement.
Riley explained the arrangement is an annual practice to secure engineering support for landfill operations and recurring projects; Burns & McDonnell prepared and submitted the professional services contract for the year.
