Commission accepts road and easement dedications for Mills Estates plat in Andover

Toby Stewart presented the Mills Estates final plat (PL 26-04) for property at the corner of SW Tawakoni Rd. and SW 60th St., Andover. KWH Investments proposes four lots ranging from about 8 to 20 acres with access via a 70-foot internal roadway and cul-de-sac off SW Tawakoni Rd. The Planning Commission approved the final plat 6-0 and the Commission voted to accept easements, roads and right-of-way shown on the plat, 5-0.
Stewart told the Board that rural water service is available for the plats, private sewage systems will be used, and electricity is provided by Butler Rural Electric. SW Tawakoni Road is a gravel roadway maintained by Benton Township. The acceptance enables future lot development subject to typical county permitting and private utility arrangements.
