County Administrator Will Johnson presented corrections after implementing the 2025 Compensation Study that identified employees whose 2025 adjustments did not include a performance pay component because they were topped out. The board reviewed a spreadsheet of calculations and approved adjustments affecting 12 employees—about 3% of full‑time staff—at a total cost of $25,949.30.
Johnson said adjustments follow the pay plan policy; employees who remain at maximum pay will be capped and receive a performance bonus rather than a salary increase. Commissioner Dan Woydziak moved to approve the adjustments; Commission Chair Marc Murphy seconded the motion, which passed 5‑0. The changes will be implemented as part of the 2026 payroll adjustments.
