After discussion about hours on the machine (around 5,000–6,000) and warranty concerns, a Committee member moved to approve the repairs and parts purchase through Foley Cat not to exceed $3,899.17; the motion was seconded and carried.
The motion specified the machine as item number 81 and identified it as a 2008 Caterpillar backhoe. The board recorded the vote by voice and approved the purchase, with staff to process procurement and proceed with the repair.
