Board approves Kent State MOU, OSBA membership and vendor contracts including E‑Rate services

The board approved a memorandum of understanding with Kent State University for College Credit Plus for the 2026–2027 school year and approved the district’s annual Ohio School Boards Association membership at a cost of $8,398. Treasurer Kim Beckley and staff presented the items as part of the superintendent recommendations packet.
The board also approved an E‑Rate internet services contract with OME-RESA, a Congruex contract for fiber removal and set-up to the central office, and a Laketec contract for UPS unit services using E‑Rate funds. These vendor and membership approvals were included in the unified superintendent recommendation motion and passed unanimously.
