Funeral home requests alley paving; council asks staff for survey and options

Staff recommended starting with a survey to narrow options and costs and offered to provide a quote. Council agreed to place a survey on a near-term agenda to determine budget implications and next steps.
Members emphasized avoiding quick fixes that could worsen drainage onto private property and requested staff check the location of inlets and property lines before any permanent work. The council asked for survey pricing and expected a follow-up report at the next meeting.
