Boardman advisory committee kicks off Main Street IAMP update with fast timeline

Matt Hugart, project lead with Kittelson, opened the meeting and described the scope and schedule of the Main Street Interchange Area Management Plan (IAMP) update. "So welcome, to the 1st, public advisory committee meeting, for the Main Street interchange area management plan," he said, and told members the team would rely on analysis from the recently adopted 2025 Transportation System Plan to speed delivery.
Hugart asked the advisory committee to provide design feedback and noted deadlines: the team will return with alternatives in mid–late July, present a preferred alternative in September and aims to be ready for adoption in the November–January 2027 window. Staff also posted Tech Memo #1 to the project website and requested comments by Friday the 19th to finalize the memo and inform the alternatives evaluation.
