Board approves minutes, notes bylaws revision still under legal review

The Board of Zoning Appeals approved minutes for two prior meetings and received an update on bylaws during the May 7 meeting.
A motion to approve the Nov. 6, 2025 minutes passed 5–0. The board then approved the Jan. 8, 2026 minutes with a 4–0 vote and one abstention from a member who said they were not present at the January meeting. The chair noted a typographical error in the synopsis that should read 2025 rather than 2026.
Staff liaison Catherine Week told the board the revised bylaws discussed at the previous meeting had not returned from legal review and expected they would be available next month. "They are not back from legal revision or review yet," Week said, asking the board to expect the bylaws item at a future meeting.
The meeting then moved to public hearings on the evening’s agenda items.
