Commissioners approve bridge easement and $110,383.33 trailer purchase for Road Department

Freund also presented two trailer quotes and the board approved purchasing a detachable trailer from Berry Tractor for $110,383.33 to come out of the Road Special Equipment fund. Commissioner Trinkle moved the purchase motion and Commissioner Shriver seconded; the vote passed 3-0. Freund told commissioners crews will continue winter mowing of right-of-ways and noted dealer discounts on new equipment can make new purchases more cost-effective than buying used without discounts.
