Fiscal Court approves transfers, bills and multiple facility contracts

Boyle County Fiscal Court approved a series of routine and facility-related actions at its special meeting Jan. 30. County Treasurer Shannon Greene presented budget transfers totaling $30,005.00 and cash moves of $500,000 from an interest-bearing account to the general fund, $475,000 from the general fund to the road fund, and $150,000 from the general fund to the jail fund; the court approved the transfers without discussion.
Finance Officer Elaina Plyman presented bills totaling $613,249.56, which the court approved. The court also approved vendor contracts for work at the Fred Cain building: a $205,200.00 quote from Central Kentucky Sprinkler for a new sprinkler system, a decision to install a PVC roof in lieu of a TPO roof (motion passed 4–1 with Magistrate Tom Ellis voting no), and a $101,739.00 electrical quote from Wiley Electric. All motions except the roof vote passed unanimously.
