County approves $23,300 lump-sum engineering proposal to update Bridge 67 design

The department said the work is part of a reimbursement program rather than a full state-managed letting. Commissioners approved moving forward and authorized the appropriate signature on the authorization document as noted in the packet. Staff said the bridge width under consideration is 24 feet, which they judged adequate for the location; they declined to increase to 28 feet because other nearby structures are narrower.
