Lori White (speaker 8) told the Board that the federal mileage reimbursement rate had been updated from $0.70 to $0.725 per mile and asked the Board to repeal county resolution 25-025 and adopt a new resolution to mirror the federal rate. The Board approved the change by roll call, the chair said, and the new county resolution (to be numbered 26-080) will be effective immediately; commissioners will sign the legal-size resolution at the following meeting.
"The adoption of this resolution effective today would show that the new reimbursement rate that follows the federal reimbursement rate is now 72.5¢," Lori White said. Commissioners asked no substantive questions and voted to adopt the resolution on the record.
