The Claymont City Board of Education approved the Treasurer’s recommendations April 13, including the March 2026 financial report, payment of bills and minutes from March meetings. The board approved renewal of liability, fleet and property insurance through Ohio School Plan via Hylant for the policy year May 1, 2026–April 30, 2027, and approved a natural gas purchase contract for May 2026–June 2027 at a fixed cost of $4.69 per thousand cubic feet (mcf). The board also accepted a $500 donation from First Federal Community Bank for a high‑school digital board project.
On the roll call vote for these items Ms. Campbell and Mr. Peters voted yes, Mrs. Wolf voted yes and Mrs. Host abstained; the motion carried. The administration said the approvals align with budget and operational plans.
