Mr. Peters invited athletes to help place flags at Union Cemetery for Memorial Day. Mrs. Grandison thanked the Claymont Foundation for distributing $229,611 in scholarships across Claymont and Buckeye students, graduating seniors and alumni. Mrs. Lloyd (CEA president) publicly thanked the district for lunch vouchers and noted donations from Pangrazios and Chick‑fil‑A during Staff Appreciation Week. The board accepted the recorded recognitions and donations as part of the meeting record.
