The Domestic Animal Task Force took several recorded actions on Jan. 29: it unanimously appointed Jessica Wicks as acting secretary and unanimously scheduled the next meeting for Feb. 26, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The task force also directed members to prepare property-classification proposals (urban/rural/lot-size) and requested a meeting with the County Attorney for legal review of draft ordinance language.
No formal ordinance votes were taken. The minutes note agreement to retain a 36-month window for the habitual-offender provision and to consider legal edits from the current County Attorney rather than substantially rewriting a draft prepared by the previous County Attorney.
