MMR Operations Manager Jeff Hayford introduced himself during extended public comment and asked to be scheduled on future monthly agendas to provide updates. Hayford said MMR has responded to 311 emergent calls from January to the present and currently staffs three ambulances; he said the service is looking to add a fourth staffed truck and to rebuild relationships within the county.
Hayford also noted next week is EMS Week. The board did not take formal action on a staffing request during the meeting; Hayford indicated he will follow up to coordinate advisory committee meetings and future monthly reports to the board.
