County approves PVC roofing for county buildings over TPO in 4–1 vote

One magistrate raised concerns about differences in product specification sheets and the absence of a halogenated flame‑retardant note for the chosen product; that magistrate said he would vote no. The judge called the question and the court approved the PVC choice 4–1.
Court members requested the supplier comparison sheet be circulated so members could review features such as low‑temperature impact resistance and flame‑retardant properties. The court’s decision was phrased as a motion to move forward with the PVC product at the same contract price; the motion carried by voice vote with one recorded no vote.
