Council appoints Kathleen Dugan to Beautification Committee after public endorsements

Kathleen Dugan introduced herself and said she already helped plant 12 planters in town. "It was so much fun. One of the funnest mornings of my life," she said while describing her interest in supporting downtown beautification.
Several public commenters, including Lori Saunders (chair of the Beautification Committee), offered support. After council discussion the council member moved to appoint Dugan to the committee and the motion passed by voice vote. Dugan accepted and thanked the council.
