Cecilia, finance staff, presented the April 2026 financial statements at the June 8 meeting and answered questions about benchmarks and year-to-date percentages. She said the year-to-date percent total for expenditures is 34.7% (benchmark 33.3%) and the revenue percent total is 18.7%, ahead of the three-year average of 17.6%.
"Our revenue percent total is 18.7% and our 3 year average is 17.6," Cecilia told the board, noting that expenditures are only slightly above benchmark and match where the county was at the same time last year. After brief questions from board members, a motion to receive the financial report was made and passed by unanimous voice vote.
What this means: The finance presentation indicates the county’s revenues are modestly ahead of recent years while expenditures are slightly above the benchmark; staff noted the situation aligns with expectations for this time of year.
