Committee forwards four WellWise board nominations to full Jackson County board

Commissioner Snell nominated Carissa Barton for the veterans affairs spot; the committee voted to forward Barton to the full board with a recommendation for approval. "I'll nominate Carissa Barton," said Commissioner Snell during the nominations period.
For the WellWise public-seat openings, the committee heard nominations for several candidates. Robert Harvey, Lindsey Scheele, Brian Bowman, Julie Hackworth and Lisa Malletic were nominated for a seat expiring in April 2028; the committee reported Robert Harvey "passes 3 to 1" as its recommendation. The committee similarly forwarded Ken Wyatt's nomination for another April 2028 public seat (reported as "Wyatt passes 3 to 1") and forwarded Lisa Malletic for a third public seat (reported "Malletic passes 3 to 1"). The chair reminded commissioners these are recommendations and that the full board will make final appointments at next Tuesday’s County Board meeting.
