Finance director reports March numbers on track; revenue slightly above three-year average

Finance staff presented the March 2026 financial report and told the committee that March’s benchmark is 25% of the fiscal year. “The year-to-date expenditure total is at 25%,” the presenter said, and noted the three-year average for expenditures is about 24.9%.
The report showed year-to-date revenue at 12.4%, above the three-year average of 11.6%. Staff called out early-year contract renewals as a driver of apparent over-budget lines in some departments and recommended continued monitoring; the committee moved to receive the report and voted unanimously to do so.
