Equalization Director Robert Englebrecht presented the 2026 Equalization Report and recommended a total equalized value for Crawford County of $1,394,930,959, a 9.6% increase from 2025, and a tentative taxable value of $927,606,751, a 6% increase.
"The recommended 2026 total Equalized value for Crawford County is $1,394,930,959 which is a 9.6% increase from 2025," Englebrecht said as he reviewed the valuation drivers. The board voted to accept the report as presented.
The accepted figures set the baseline for taxable-value calculations and provide the county’s official equalized values for the 2026 tax year; any tax-rate or budget decisions that rely on updated values will reference these numbers.
