On the docks at the lake, the administrator said dock leg shipments were in transit from Minnesota and that local contractors would float and anchor the new aluminum dock sections, with eco-grading required by ODFW to protect underwater habitat.
Regarding the Springboard Sewer project, staff described a change order to bore under Highway 47 rather than trench across the highway because of slumping concerns at Adams; the administrator said crews have dug the bore pit and will be boring approximately 350 feet under Park Drive and the highway to a manhole near the jail, with an expected 30-day timeline for that work. City staff said the engineer recalculated alignment to add a manhole in Shea Park and that the contractor will restore any disturbed park areas and repave where required.
The administrator also reviewed coordination with ODOT on ADA ramp work, noting a $28,000 deposit for conflict mitigation and the need to resolve several vault/manhole ownership questions before final invoicing. She said staff will provide follow-up materials and printed packets for upcoming meetings. The reports reflected ongoing progress and routine project risk-management decisions; councilors asked clarifying questions about schedules and staffing.
