Agency President Geoff Wullschlager reported that a potential business had expressed interest in applying for the Agency’s storefront improvement program, but that the business is not the property owner. Wullschlager said applications must include building improvements beyond simple painting, and staff will share program information with the property owner.
Wullschlager described this as early-stage interest: the prospective applicant indicated willingness to pursue improvements but cannot submit a complete application without the property owner’s involvement. No formal application or funding decision was made at the April 7 meeting.
