"We are incredibly grateful to our community restaurant partners for helping us make Engage Day even more special," Ebert said, noting restaurants have offered special menus to seniors and some will provide deals tied to the event.
Ethel suggested a plan to have lunch at a local senior center and then go to a participating restaurant for an additional meal, saying the combination helps mitigate social isolation and supports community businesses.
