Community Development Director Dyer updated the council on several local projects: removal of underground tanks on an Antioch Street property, ongoing work at the Marketplace tied to a planned Trader Joe's, and initial processing of driveway grant applications ahead of a future bid packet.
Dyer also reported that the Kansas Department of Health and Environment conducted an MS4 (stormwater) permit inspection and that the inspection appeared to go well; the city expects a report from the state in the next few weeks. "They seemed very pleased with that," Dyer said of the inspection team reviewing erosion controls at the Marketplace construction site.
