Jason, who spoke for the applicants and described the projects, said the Dawson Public Power District permit will install a directional bore for a power feed under Sand Road north of Sutherland to replace an existing overhead crossing, and that the roads department raised no objections. He also described Great Plains Communications' planned fiber segments around Sutherland (Meadowlands Road, Simmons & King, Sarban Road and Snake Root) and Vireo Fiber Networks' proposed installation along North Wellfleet and Hansen roads. The Vireo application included a check for $618.71. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the authorizations during roll call.
