Commissioners authorize consulting review of Tyler justice system and allow county employees to serve as election officials

Matt Springer presented two resolutions: an agreement with Mission Critical Partners to perform a phase-1 review of the Tyler Enterprise Justice case management system (estimated 12 weeks, deliverable a go/no-go recommendation) and authorization for county employees to serve as precinct election officials in the November election with supervisor approval. Commissioners moved and approved both measures.
Springer described the consulting phase as a short-term engagement that will produce a recommendation on whether the county should proceed with a full Tyler contract. "This is, scoped for a phase 1 contract estimated to take approximately 12 weeks," he said. The board approved the authorization for employees to serve as precinct election officials as part of continued election staffing practice.
