The Grand Traverse County Board of Public Works elected Jeff Shaw as chair at its Jan. 9, 2025 meeting. Board member Beth Friend moved to open nominations and nominated Jeff Shaw; Liz Vogel seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The board also selected Doug White as vice-chair and Rob Lajko as secretary. The chair announced committee appointments for finance, personnel and appeals. The board approved the meeting agenda by motion from Andy Smits, seconded by Maura Sanders. The meeting was called to order by the Interim Director at 9:00 a.m. at Garfield Township Hall.
