BOCC approves Bolt Fiber permits for approximately 21.75 miles of county roads

Rogers County commissioners approved two utility permits from Bolt Fiber on Jan. 12 authorizing crossings and parallel placement across county highways and local roads. Permit U26-1 covers approximately 14.75 miles of roads in the northeast portion of Rogers County north of Chelsea (sections listed in Townships 24N, Ranges 17E and 18E). Permit U26-2 covers about 7 miles of roads in the Howard and Bushyhead area southwest of Chelsea (Sections 2, 4, 8, 9 and 10; Township 23N, Range 17E). Both permits were approved by unanimous roll-call votes.
The minutes list the statutory and sectional descriptions for the work areas; commissioners recorded motions to approve both permits. The approvals allow Bolt Fiber to proceed with county-permitted fiber placement, subject to county permit terms and any required easements or right-of-way conditions.
