Rogers County commissioners handled multiple routine administrative and financial matters on Jan. 5, 2026, approving utility permits, purchase orders and a settlement tied to a road-improvement project.
The board approved three utility permits: two for Cox Communications (U25-212 and U25-213) and one for Rural Water District #3 (U25-214), each described with section/township/range location references in Rogers County. The board also approved a settlement agreement to acquire 2.87 acres of permanent right-of-way and 0.07 acre of temporary right-of-way for Southaven Phase II (Project No. 22498) at Parcel Nos. 18a & 18b, located at 9755 E. 510 Rd., Claremore, OK 74019.
In finance actions the board approved nine blanket purchase orders totaling $21,500 and approved an overage on PO#26-03738 (ImageFirst/ImageFIRST of Dallas, LLC) with an explanatory letter attached. The board also approved Resolution 2026-118 to reimburse the General Fund Court Clerk Salaries account $329.62 for a September 2025 insurance premium refund and set filing and polling locations for the 2026 Rogers County Fair Board under Resolution 2026-120. Payment of purchase orders was approved under Resolutions 2026-116 and 2026-122. All motions carried on unanimous roll-call votes.
