Rogers County commissioners voted on multiple procurement matters during their Jan. 5 meeting, awarding a six-month road salt contract and clarifying previously awarded road-and-bridge materials.
Purchasing Agent Samantha Sherman said 10 invitations were sent for the road salt solicitation and four bids were received; the board awarded Bid 2026-24A for the term 01/01/2026-06/30/2026 to low bidder Hutchinson Salt Company. The board also clarified District 3's Graded Rip Rap award: Anchor Stone was selected for quality and location, with Greenhill Materials listed as the contingent secondary. A separate procurement for commissary items at the Rogers County Detention Facility (2026-31) received three bids and was tabled for one week for further review.
All procurement motions were passed by unanimous roll-call votes.
