Matt Parks, recreation staff, updated the board on park activity and community partnerships at O'Brien Park and other sites. "Stored Goodness has been partnering with us at O'Brien Park on some stuff. They've been doing backpack programs ... she's feeding kids Tuesday through Thursday," Parks said, describing ongoing outreach and a pavilion project tied to the effort.
Parks also noted recent repairs (including pickleball light warranty repairs at Haikey Creek) and several upcoming events, including a car show at Chandler Park and sign unveilings in different parks. Parks encouraged commissioners and the public to visit the programs and thanked staff and partners for their work.
