The commission approved recording easement agreements for the Raw Waterline RP2 project, a phase of a multi-year program to replace the pipeline that carries untreated water from creeks and rivers to the city treatment plant. Staff told the commission they had collected signed easements from private property owners (three permanent utility easements and three temporary construction easements) and asked the city manager be authorized to execute and record them.
Commissioners moved and seconded the authorization; the motion passed by voice vote. Staff said the project is part of the broader pipeline replacement effort and that the city will continue coordinating easement needs for future phases.
