Water-team flags sodium hypochlorite cell replacement and Hammond waterline progress

When asked, staff said the raw-water sales currently provide helpful revenue but that long-term supply planning could change priorities.
Commissioners asked whether the sodium hypochlorite unit is basically a chlorine system (staff confirmed it is the disinfection unit) and whether the RP2 work has begun; staff said bids were submitted and construction timing depends on the design and bid results. For Hammond waterline phase 1, staff said design contracts have been approved and the project is closer to construction than in past years.
