The Warrenton Urban Renewal Agency on April 8 adopted its 2025–27 priority projects list after brief discussion. The list, read into the record by the board chair, identifies projects including a new library building, Warrenton Marina Campground work, a North Main Avenue land purchase, stormwater infrastructure at 1st and Main, and signage and streetscape repairs on South Main. The board chair emphasized that the list represents priorities rather than assured projects if funds become depleted.
Agency members acknowledged that some projects already underway were omitted because they had been previously approved. The motion to adopt was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote. Executive staff noted that, depending on bids and other requests during the fiscal year, approximately $100,000 would likely be available for additional projects in the current funding window.
