Board approves claims and closes meeting after brief, heated commissioner remark

In committee member comments, Commissioner Bier spoke and said he had received angry constituent calls and addressed colleagues sharply: "It appears to me and a lot of my constituents that telephone me that, I've just got some just plain enemies here... I acknowledge you as enemies, and I will treat you that way," he said. The chair then adjourned the meeting to the call of the chair.
