The Monroe Local Board of Education approved multiple consent‑agenda items July 27, including business contracts, vendor agreements and personnel actions.
Items approved included a five‑year contract with Pitney Bowes for postage meters, a contract with Hometown Ticketing for online event ticket sales, an MOU with Butler Tech to reimburse certain transportation routes for the coming school year, and approval of instructional coaching services through the Hamilton County ESC. The board also authorized a proposal with Prodigy Building Solutions to renovate Storage Room 10 at the primary building and approved a student services contract with Stepping Stones for occupational therapy (rescinding the prior InvoHealthcare contract noted at the June meeting).
On personnel the board approved standard hires and extracurricular contracts, including individual approvals for Debbie Hegador and Timothy Carpenter; one trustee abstained on Hegador’s extracurricular contract as recorded in the roll call. The board also approved the superintendent personnel consent agenda and other business items such as a 3.4% contract increase for Sodexo facilities management.
All consent items were carried by roll‑call vote as presented; the clerk recorded the individual aye votes and the motions were carried.
