Council approves $187,500 amendment to 4 Lakes Substation construction schedule

City staff presented Amendment No. 2 to the agreement with Power and Vista Corporation for the 4 Lakes Substation bypass, noting the appropriation of $187,500 is already available and the contractor’s schedule requires construction to be moved to September.
“It's a $187,500 project that the appropriation has already been delivered to them,” staff member Steve Marks said, adding that construction pushed from March to June and now to September because the contractor’s workload delayed the start. Council moved, seconded and approved the amendment by voice vote.
Staff said the change updated the project milestones and that September is the likely month to complete the work given the contractor’s schedule.
