Hashemi and Reid also highlighted an OIR-organized June 25 tour for Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal to showcase downtown revitalization projects and said those demonstrations reinforced federal support for downtown recovery work. They noted OIR’s work helped enable fan-zone activations under House Bill 1515, which the city sponsored in 2025 and which expires in 2027.
