OIR: Sound Transit adopted updated work plan; state support needed for ST3

Director Hashemi told the council that at the end of May the Sound Transit Board adopted an updated system plan and work plan that includes follow-up actions across policy planning, transit operations, capital delivery and finance. She said Seattle’s representatives to Sound Transit — Council Member Strauss and Mayor Wilson — played important roles in the process.
Hashemi added that OIR is tracking and supporting work in Olympia on legislation needed to support the ST3 program, specifically citing the need to expand bonding authority to advance capital delivery and related financing work.
